Iconic Burstbucker Pickups Provide Vintage PAF ToneAt the heart of this Les Paul are Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 and 3 humbucking pickups, which provide the warm, articulate tone of original late-50s PAF pickups. These pickups are made in the USA to exacting standards, using the same materials and construction as vintage PAFs. Combined with 50s-style wiring and high-quality CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, these pickups deliver rich, multidimensional tone with clarity and definition.
Solid Mahogany Body and Maple TopLike vintage Les Pauls of the era, this reissue features a solid mahogany body with a carved AAA maple veneer top. This combination produces a warm, balanced tone with singing sustain and natural compression. The maple top also gives this Les Paul a luxurious figured appearance beneath its aged gloss finish.
Comfortable, Medium C Neck ProfileThe neck on this Les Paul reissue is shaped to the dimensions of a 1959 Les Paul, with a rounded, medium C profile that plays fast and comfortably. It's made from solid mahogany and features an Indian laurel fretboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets. The neck joint is a long tenon design for optimum tone transfer and sustain.
Vintage-Style Hardware and FinishTo complete the vintage vibe, this Les Paul features nickel hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece, and vintage-style deluxe tuners.
